Description

The ePass FIDO U2F FIDO2 NFC USB token is a FIDO Alliance certified U2F authenticator that provides a secure, phishing-resistant two-factor authentication scheme and supports the FIDO2 standard with password-less verification as well.

ePass FIDO U2F FIDO2 NFC USB is supported by Microsoft, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Azure AD, Google, Gmail, Google Drive, Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox, Github, GitLab, Salesforce, Bitbucket, Dashlane, Duo, Digientity, BITFINEX, FastMail, Gandi.net, Keeper, Sentry, etc. It can integrate with authentication servers using the HOTP algorithm.
Apart from the support of OATH-HOTP and GIDS for two-factor authentication, the token has a built-in high-performance NXP security element. Generating random and secure key pairs for FIDO U2F authentication allows using token on a Java platform to provide access to other apps, and protect user personal information from various types of security threats too.

In order to connect to the FIDO2 standard, the token uses WebAuthn, a JS API for public key account management, and CTAP2 (Client-to-Authenticator 2), the standard that describes a protocol for the OS to communicate with the authenticator over USB.
